This is the camera I've been waiting for! I am a huge Nikon fan and have used many of the D-SLRs of Nikon. The Nikon D300 just offers so much more than the Nikon D200. The outstanding low light capability and very quick auto focus work amazing! I highly recommend this camera, it is better than my more expensive D2X, performance and price wise!

A 51-point AF focus, Auto Focus fine tuning, a high resolution LCD and low noise at high ISO - what more can a man wish for in his camera? The only negative point I can think of it the price, but with all the new features I won't complain - I highly recommend the Nikon D300 SLR !

The Nikon D300 is very solid built, but not too heavy. I enjoy the new Live View feature and high resolution LCD screen. Also the AF system is a big plus. I bought the Nikon D300 with a 24-70mm Nikkor lens. I can only conclude one thing; all images I shoot come out great!
