BlackBerry introduceert de Official Rugby World Cup App : Research In Motion (RIM) kondigt de lancering aan van een geoptimaliseerde versie van de Official Rugby World Cup 2011 App for BlackBerry smartphones. Deze Rugby World Cup 2011 App voor BlackBerry Smartphones zal beschikbaar zijn vanaf woensdag 24 augustus, en zal rugby fans toelaten om op de hoogte blijven van het reilen en zeilen tijdens de Rugby World Cup 2011 in Nieuw-Zeeland, dit dankzij een real-time informatie overdracht naar hun BlackBerry smartphone en BlackBerry PlayBook. De Rugby World Cup applicatie omvat live wedstrijdcommentaar en updates van de scores, de beste video highlights, foto's, tornooi nieuws, statistieken en nog veel meer.
