Primeras imágenes en directo de la nueva Pentax *ist D

Acabamos de volver de una presentación justo antes del comienzo del salón PMA 2003. Hemos hablado con un miembro del stand de Pentax, que tiene la misión de guardar un modelo de pre-producción de la nueva Pentax IST D réflex digital en sus manos y conservarlo con su vida. Desgraciadamente, no hemos podido cogerlo en nuestras manos, pero nuestra primera impresión de esta nueva réflex digital de Pentax es que es realmente compacta. Pentax USA está esperando para el anuncio de su precio final a que la competencia decida el suyo. La empuñadura opcional no estaba en ese momento, esperamos verla al día siguiente cuando volvamos a visitar Pentax y esperamos poder tomar unas fotografías en directo en mejores condiciones de luz, pero de momento os mostramos las primeras imágenes en directo -al menos que nosotros sepamos- de forma que os podeis hacer una idea de cómo de compacta es esta cámara.

Pequeña introducción de la nueva réflex digital Pentax *IST D: El 26 de febrero Pentax ha presentado su nueva cámara con 6.1 Megapixels efectivos, equipada con un CCD de altas prestaciones de unas dimensiones de 23.5mmx15.77mm. La cámara tiene un peso de solamente 590 gramos, aunque por lo que hemos podido saber las especificaciones pueden cambiar en algunos detalles; de momento mantenemos la información según los datos técnicos de la presentación oficial. Uno de los grandes beneficios es la amplia gama de objetivos compatibles Pentax.

La nueva réflex digital de Pentax utiliza una nueva medición de luz de 16-segmentos para una exposición precisa, con una velocidad máxima de obturación de 1/4000 y por supuesto prioridad de diafragma y velocidad. La nueva *ist D utiliza para almacenar las imágenes tarjetas CompactFlash type I o II o Microdrive. La cámara tiene función de control a través del PC en el frontal de su cuerpo acabado en negro y utiliza un interface USB 1.1. La imágenes se almacenan en formato JPEG, TIFF o RAW. El software de compatibilidad Raw será proporcionado por Pentax. Para su alimentación la nueva réflex digital utiliza dos baterías 2 CR-V3 o cuatro AA.
