Konica introduces another new digital camera - Revio KD-220Z

We almost forgot to mention this new digital Revio from Konica. Unfortunately there is no camera on the showfloor, but all we can say for know is that this new model will be expected to be launched on the market around November this year. The new Konica Digital Revio KD-220Z is a very light and compact camera. A classy metallic casing with a 3x optical zoom lens is providing a 32-97mm equivalent to a 35mm camera. Coupled with a digital 2x zoom the Konica Revio Digital KD-220Z offers a 6x effective zoom.
Two AA batteries power the camera, which has to last a long life due to KD-220Z's energy-efficient design. The Konica KD-220 is using a Secure Digital card for image storage and has also an 8MB internal memory, allowing users to save large numbers of images. In addition to a range of flash operating modes, the Konica Revio KD-220Z offers a host of other functions. These include Close-up, enabling shots as close as 10cm to the subject, and Movie, which enables the recording of movie sequences. There is also a convenient Manual Exposure setting, which users set the level of exposure to ensure they get the best result. With these and many other easy-to-use functions its is possible to capture all kinds of images everywhere.
Konica Revio KD-220 Z
Further details of this new Konica camera are 2.1 Megapixels (2.0 MP effective) on a 1/3.2" CCD providing a maximum resolution of 1600x1200 and a minimum of 800x600pixels. On the back of the camera is a 1.6" TFT LCD display. The shutter speed has a range of 1/10-1/1000e second with a brightness of f2.8 in wide and f4.8 in tele for the 3x optical zoom lens. The minimal focus range is 10cm to infinity (wide) or 40cm to infinity (tele). The images are stored as JPEG (Exif 2.2) on a Secure Digital card. The weight without batteries and flash card is approx. 180g with a 105x63x41.5mm dimension.
