JVC announces new dual mode digital cameras
We missed this one during PMA, just due to a lack of time, so we will give this one another try. JVC announced its 2003 digital camera models, including the compact GC-A55 and GC-A33, and the ultra compact GC-A50. All three cameras feature a sleek new design and offer both still image recording and webcam capabilities. Besides these three new digital cameras, JVC had also a new 2 Megapixel mock-up camera which until now has no specifications. According to Rob Payesko, JVC Merchandising Manager, Consumer Video Division, JVC's dual mode digital cameras offer state of the art digital imaging technology for every type of consumer, from first type to experienced users. However, we think that these new models are only interesting for first-entry level users.
