During the big CeBIT event in Turkey, Eurasia Bilisim 2003, Hyundai has brought along her assortment of digital camera's. The complete assortment mainly exists of entry level camera's. The Hyundai DSC 505 has an image sensor with a resolution of 350.000 pixels offering an image resolution of 640x480 (VGA) pixels. In video mode the maximum resolution is 320x240 pixels. The back of the camera features a LCD monitor, where you can see the status or you can play the images. The fixed lens has a focal range of 28mm (equivalent to a 35mm camera) and a brightness of f2.8. The white balance happens automatically. The images are stored on the internal memory of 8MB and in JPEG format. Beside that the camera has a built-in flash and it gets the required power from two AAA alkaline batteries. The CD1070s is equipped with a 1.3 Megapixels CMOS sensor that offers a maximum image resolution of 1280x1024 pixels. The fixed lens has a brightness of f3.0 and focussing happens through a fixfocus system. The miminum focus distance is 90 centimetres. The camera doesn't have an optical zoom but it has the possibility to use the 4x digital zoom. On the back of the camera we find the 1.5 -inch colour monitor. The images are stored on the 8MB internal memory or on a external Secure Digital or MultiMedia memory card. The images can be transferred via a USB 1.1 connection onto a computer. The camera uses a set of Alkaline batteries, weighs appr. 120 grams and has the following sizes: 108x59x36mm. The Hyundai DC-2070 has an image resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. The resolution is the result of a 2.1 Megapixel CCD. The DC-2070 is the first model in the range of Hyundai's digital camera's to use the focus through an auto focus system. The miminum focal range in normal mode goes from 70 to 30 cm in macro mode. The brightness of the fixed lens is f2.8, the shutter speed lies in between ½ and 1/500 second. The white balance is set automatically or made by choosing: sun, shade, FL or light bulb. On the back of the camera there is room for a 1.6-inch colour monitor on which one can play all the images. The camera has a 2x digital zoom. The images are stored in JPEG format on the internal memory of 8MB or on an external Secure Digital or MultiMedia memory card. The camera uses two AA alkaline batteries or a CR-V3 lithium battery, has a weight of 120 grams and measures 105x44x55mm. The forth model of Hyundai is the DC-2300. A camera with 2 Megapixel resolution (1600x1200), auto focus and a 3x optical zoom lens. Minimum focus range starts at 20cm to infinite and in macro mode from 8cm. Beside the 3x optical zoom the DC-2300 also has a 2x digital zoom available. The brightness in wide angle is f2.8 and in tele f8.6. The camera uses automatical white balance but can also be set to manual. The 1.6-inch monitor can be used as a viewer and also to show the stored images. The images are stored in JPEG format on the MP internal memory or on an external CompactFlash type I memory card. The built-in flash offers beside the automatical flash function also the red eye reduction function. The camera can be connected directly onto a computer and the images can be transferred onto a cumputer using the USB 1.1 connection. The Hyundai DC-3320 is the topmodel of this series of digital cameras. The camera is equipped with a 3.2 Megapixel CCD and offers an image resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. The auto focus lens has a brightness of f2.8. The camera is equipped with a 3x optical zoom and beside that it can enhance the increasement 2x digital. The white balance is done automatically, but it is also possible to set the white balance manually. The camera has a 1.5-inch size LCD monitor to show the stored images.The DC03320 is equipped with a CompactFlash memory card for type I. The images are transferred to the computer via the USB 1.1 connection. The size of the camera is 112x44x77mm.
