1. Do you have a digital camera? For what purpose is it used? Of course I have a digital camera, I use it on holiday, fairs, events, professionally and privately. 2. Do you still use 35mm films for private or business purpose? Mainly for business I use the 35mm camera but since the Pentax IST came out, I use that one more and more. 3. Are the digital images printed out? And if so, in what way? The images I usually put on a c.d. and sometimes I have them printed out on a Epson photo printer. 4. What would you like to have changed on a digital camera? Well, since the IST is out, I find nothing could possibly be improved on this model so I'd say I don't want to change anything. 5. Describe how you see the future (like in 5 years time) on photography for yourself. I can say only one thing: the future = digital! 6. You are here as an exhibitor. But what I experienced now is that people already know more about digital cameras, I can tell by the questions, the people seem to have prepared themselves! 8. What are your expectations concerning Digital imaging for the coming year 2004? (Innovations, prices etc.) In this part of the world it all depends on the economical situation. 9. Do you think that Mobile imaging will claim part of the market of Digital imaging? I don't believe in that. I believe in good professional photos and so far the mobile imaging can't offer that quality. 10. Describe the future (5 years) of the Digital Imaging Industry. The right to exist for the present companies, is it necessary to establish drastic cooperation's or merges or do you think that from a total different angle there will appear other companies to claim their part of the Digital Imaging Industry. Christoph Brunen, Area Sales Manager answered this question, he says: In the next 3 or 4 years the top brands will survive. They will probably need to broaden their range of products. Konica and Minolta had a merge but I think the others will remain independent. Only the small companies might need to merge but Pentax will definitely stay independent.
