My first experience with a digital camera with face detection that really works, the Finepix S6500fd. I’m not so glad with the xD memory card because it’s more expensive and slower than the SD card. The Fujifilm S6500fd image quality with low light is excellent, and the video quality is also good. The software is not very easy to use.

After a long search for a digital camera with a decent zoom I came to the Fujifilm Finepix S6500 with face detection. First I thought that the functions where very difficult to use but after a short look in de manual I concluded that it looks more complicated than is actually is. The Fujifilm S6500fd fits well in your hand and has a great zoom. The software is not that good and offers few options. The biggest weakness of the Finepix S6500fd is that it has no image stabilization. I think the price is excellent for what you get.
