I own the Canon 40D and I can only conclude that it leaps and bounds over the EOS 30D. It is similar to the XTi but still better. More weather durable and more pro-type handling. Also many different modes are available, and the shutter speed is amazing! I like shooting black & white and sepia and it is great with the Canon EOS 40D.
