Ideal for digital imaging enthusiasts who want to print frame-ready photos and personalize home music and movie collections at an affordable price. With an estimated street price of $99, six individual ink cartridges, ultra-fast print speeds, and direct CD/DVD printing, the EPSON Stylus Photo R200 is the perfect solution for versatile, high-quality home printing. Featuring Epson's Advanced Micro Piezo technology, and a superior six-colour photo ink system, it achieves resolutions up to 5760x1440 optimized dpi and ultra fine 3-picoliter ink droplets to ensure photo quality colour and detail, more accurate skin tones and an ultra-wide colour range for prints.
New EPSON Stylus Photo R200 printer releasedThe EPSON Stylus Photo R200 also prints very fast, featuring text speeds up to 15 ppm and photo speeds as fast as 37 seconds for a 4" x 6" photo and 78 seconds for an 8" x 10" photo. Utilizing Epson's patented BorderFree photo printing technology, the EPSON Stylus Photo R200 produces exceptional photographic prints in a variety of frame-ready photo paper sizes. Customers can print photos on Epson's Borderless 4" x 6", 5" x 7", 8" x 10" and letter-size photo papers with no borders to trim and no perforations to tear.

The EPSON Stylus Photo R200 supports PRINT Image Matching (P.I.M.) technology to create the best possible prints automatically, without complicated colour corrections. Currently there are over 130 P.I.M.-enabled products from 20 manufacturers of digital cameras, printers and software. Exif 2.2 (Exif Print) digital camera standard is also supported by this printer.

The EPSON Stylus Photo R200 is both Macintosh and Windows compatible and offers convenient USB 1.1 connectivity for a PC or laptop via front and rear ports for added versatility and ease of use.

Printing Directly on Ink-Jet Printable CD-R and DVD-R Recordable Media
With the EPSON Stylus Photo R200, customers can print directly onto the surface of ink-jet printable CD-R and DVD-R media, thus eliminating the expense, inconvenience and risk of using adhesive labels. Customers can easily design professional-looking CDs and DVDs with customized text, colourful backgrounds and images by using the included CD software. Printing out the CDs is quick and simple with a front-loading CD tray that comes standard with the printer.

Ink and Media for the R200
Epson offers a wide variety of papers for use with the EPSON Stylus Photo R200 including EPSON Glossy Photo Paper, EPSON Premium Glossy Photo Paper, EPSON Premium Luster Photo Paper, EPSON Premium SemiGloss Paper, EPSON ColourLife Paper, EPSON Matte Paper Heavyweight, EPSON Photo Quality Ink Jet Paper, EPSON Premium Bright White Paper, and plain paper.

The EPSON Stylus Photo R200 includes six separate ink cartridges to maximize
ink yield, one black ink cartridge and five colour ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, and light magenta). These individual inks cartridges can be replaced at any time, maximizing efficiency and lowering the total cost of ownership. The printer also uses Epson's fast and convenient quick-drying inks for prints that are immediately dry to the touch and water-resistant on EPSON Premium Photo Papers.
