KingstonKingston Technology Company, Inc. today announced the release of a 256MB Secure Digital (SD) Card, the latest generation of high capacity, small form factor digital storage devices on the market today. SD is the latest addition to Kingston's continuously expanding spectrum of digital storage devices. The SD card's postage stamp size weighs less than two grams and provides up to 500 digital photos. The SD card also provides enhanced cryptographic security protection for copyrighted data. SD cards are used in the latest SD compatible digital devices such as PDAs, digital cameras, digital camcorders and MP3 players. Available immediately, Kingston's 256MB SD Card (SD/256) carries a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $99.00.
