HPHP Photosmart M627 : The 2006 HP Imaging and Printing Conference HP is the event where HP unveiled a broad range of new products. Among them the HP Photosmart M627 camera. The HP Photosmart M627 features 7 Megapixels and 24x total zoom, 3x optical, 8x digital, to produce amazing-quality photos. The HP M627 camera features HP Real Life technologies, including in-camera red-eye removal and HP Design Gallery. With the new HP Design Gallery, users can easily capture and edit brilliant digital photos. This small, all-metal camera also features one-button ordering and sharing of photos with HP Photosmart Express. The estimated U.S. street price is $229; the HP Photosmart M627 is expected to be available in September 2006 in North America.

The HP Photosmart M627 digital camera features HP Design Gallery, a feature that enables consumers to quickly and easily add creative effects and borders to their photos right on the camera. With HP Design Gallery, consumers can choose up to 10 different borders, including burnt, soft or torn edges, 12 different artistic effects, such as kaleidoscope, retro and slimming, and four unique color tints. All of these creative touches can be simply applied to photos with just one touch of a button on the back of the camera without spending extensive time using sophisticated software on a PC.

HP Photosmart Express - Share and Print
HP Photosmart Express makes sharing, printing and saving digital photos easy, users simply take a photo and select its destination right on the back of the camera, up to 34 destinations, including email addresses, online albums, printers and Snapfish for ordering prints online. When the digital camera is later connected to a computer or the optional camera dock, the selected photos are automatically printed and/or emailed without burdening the recipient with large file attachments. Email recipients see thumbnails of the images in the body of the email message, as well as a link to the web page where they can easily view, print and save the photos, and upload them to online albums. Optional HP Photosmart 6220 Digital Camera Dock lets user easily transfer photos to PC to print, e-mail or save, plus recharge in-camera batteries.
