SanyoSanyo PLV-HD2000 Projector : The new digital cinema technology is becoming more dominant because of its better picture and sound quality. This benefits movie-goers but it also benefits the film industry which can save enormous amounts of money by shooting digitally rather than using expensive film rolls. Most films are already being shot digitally and then edited. Soon, theaters will be able to download encrypted copies of movies via satellite, saving money and increasing flexibility by allowing shorter runs for movies and advertisements. The Sanyo PLV-HD10 projector is already being used in many movie theaters to show digital advertisements. With our new model, the PLV-HD2000, Sanyo offers even more improvements.
Sanyo PLV-HD2000 ProjectorSanyo HD2000 - Microscopic lenses
With a resolution of 2048 x 1080 pixels, our true 2K panel projects brilliant cinema images onto the screen with a projection width of up to 25 meters. A 1000:1 contrast ensures exceptionally vivid colors and sharp details even in dark scenes. Add to that the projector’s phenomenal brightness of 7,000 ANSI lumens and every film becomes a visual delight. Our micro lens technology contributes to the incredibly powerful output: microscopic lenses in front of each of the PLV-HD2000’s three 1.65” panels bundle the light rays and pass them through each pixel with absolute precision. The projector’s 12-bit color processing, which allows 1.07 billion colors to be displayed, also helps create brilliant images. The enormous range of intermediate colors ensures the delivery of subtle, finely detailed images.

Sanyo HD2000 Projector - Multi lamp system
A multi-lamp system consisting of four 300 W UHP ensures viewing enjoyment: If any one of the four lamps fails, the system immediately switches to the intact pair of lamps, allowing the show to go on. Any resulting differences in color reproduction and contrast are automatically corrected by the projector’s electronics. If you want to extend the life of the lamps, the PLV-HD2000 can be switched to energy-saving mode, in which it uses just one pair of lamps. With single and dual lamp operation, full illumination is not achieved, but the life of the lamps is lengthened considerably. Although intended for professional use, the device can also be run by those without a technical background. The projector’s extremely simple operation and clear, intuitive menu system spare users extensive training.

Sanyo PLV HD2000 Projector - Interchangeable lenses
Users now have 11 interchangeable lenses at their disposal - from extreme wide-angle for rear projections to extreme telephoto lenses for gigantic projections. The One Touch Lens Change System allows the projector to be adapted for smaller or larger movie theaters in no time. But the advantage of this feature extends beyond theaters. Another target group for the 2K projector is users in the rental and events areas. Of course, lenses that were bought for use with earlier models can still be used in the PLV-HD2000.

Sanyo PLV-HD2000 Projector - Flexibility
Flexibility is also provided by connectors like the dual link SDI, 5 BNC, DVI-I (HDCP)input and various optional adaptor boards: DVI-I board, 5 BNC board, video board Y/C and the network board which allows for reliable remote maintenance and adjustment. For example, an email can automatically be sent to the administrator when a lamp is due to be changed or when the operating temperature is abnormally high. There is truly no obstacle to trouble-free viewing enjoyment.
