Intervideo Ulead announces video contest winner

 Intervideo Ulead announces photo contest winner : InterVideo Inc. and its partner Ulead Systems, Inc. industry leaders in video, image and DVD software, today announced the winners in a worldwide project, entitled Snapshot in Time. The project was arranged by the MediaStudio Pro Users Group (MUG-SW), an online community of Ulead MediaStudio Pro users. "In today's world of Internet communications, an idea can spread around the world with positive results. Such is the case with the Snapshot in Time (SiT) 2005 project", said Peter Burchert, project coordinator. "The aim of the SiT projects is to provide an outlet for users of Ulead MediaStudio Pro to show off their talents and share something of their lives and hobbies with their peers.

 MediaStudio Pro - 2 minute video clip
Each participant produced a 2-minute video clip, filmed during a specific week in 2005 and edited in MediaStudio Pro. All the entries were then collected and compiled on one DVD: a unique "Snapshot in Time" from around the world, all produced on the same editing software. Topics ranged from skiing runs in the Alps, fishing in Australia, to making maple syrup the old fashioned way. "User groups such as the MUG-SW represent a community of loyal Ulead users who selflessly share their expertise with newcomers and each other." said Eldon C. M. Liu, president of Ulead. "We applaud their spirit of camaraderie and encourage activities that help our users to get the most out of their software."
