Jon Coleman general manager at Targus USA : Targus maker of the world's best-selling notebook cases and accessories, today announced that Jon Coleman joins Targus as the general manager of the Americas, the most senior operational team leader for the region. Coleman brings 16 years of sales, marketing and brand management experience to Targus, where he will report to Roger Murphy, CEO of Targus. In his new role, Coleman oversees Targus' 200 employees located in the US, Canada and Latin America, with responsibility for managing all operational functions, including sales, marketing, finance, operations and administration. Coleman earned his bachelor's degree in international relations in 1987 and a master's degree in 1992.

Coleman served as vice president and general manager
Most recently, Coleman served as vice president and general manager of the Canadian/Caribbean Region for Pfizer Consumer Healthcare Inc., where he oversaw the consumer healthcare business and was responsible for over 30 brands across five core categories. Under his leadership, the Canadian business recovered from a sales decline of negative 12 percent in 2003 to a growth of plus six percent in 2005. Previously, Coleman held a number of increasingly responsible positions within Pfizer, beginning in 1994 as an assistant product manager and working up to senior region director for Asia. Prior to his tenure at Pfizer, he worked for Procter & Gamble and Bain & Company.
