LexarLexar demonstrates photography techniques at WPPI 2006 : Lexar Media today announced that professional wedding photographers Paul Gero, Denis Reggie and Matt Mendelsohn will be demonstrating their award-winning digital photography techniques in conjunction with the company's professional-level flash memory cards and accessories at the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Show (WPPI), taking place April 7-11 in Las Vegas. These distinguished photographers will be giving presentations and sharing content about their favorite shooting, workflow and printing techniques and will include tips and answer questions on how Lexar's professional products help them succeed in their wedding assignments.

According to Rangefinder, the leading and fastest-growing magazine in professional photography and the official media outlet of the upcoming WPPI show, a recent reader survey found that more than 80 percent of all professional photographers now prefer digital imaging as their method of image capture. Paul Gero has been a professional photographer since 1983. He previously worked on staff for both the Chicago Tribune and Arizona Republic. After working in journalism for many years, Gero decided to take a non-traditional approach to weddings and in the process he discovered not only great moments, but great images. He currently shoots weddings throughout the United States and has freelanced for leading publications including; Sports Illustrated, People, Time and U.S. News & World Report, among others.

Denis Reggie is a nationally renowned celebrity and society wedding photographer. He defined the genre and coined the phrase wedding photojournalism in 1980, transforming the look of wedding photography throughout the world. Since 1976, Denis Reggie and his exclusive team of hand-picked photojournalists have covered over 1,700 weddings in the documentary style he pioneered.

Professional photographer Matt Mendelsohn
Matt Mendelsohn has been a professional photographer for 20 years and is one of Washington's most recognized names in documentary photography. He was recently named one of the fifteen hottest wedding photographers in America by Photo District News. He began his career in 1985 at the Binghamton (N.Y.) Press and quickly moved on to United Press International's Washington bureau, covering the White House. For most of the '90s, Mendelsohn was a photographer and photo editor at USA Today, shooting celebrities, earthquakes and even newly discovered tombs in Egypt. Mendelsohn has photographed more than 400 weddings in the last eight years, always utilizing his distinctive black-and-white style, consistently delivering for his customers and his audience.
