FotowareFotoWare Cameleon suite image archive software : With more than 12 years as a software development company FotoWare plays a pioneer role in the industry of digital imaging. FotoWare has for more than a decade delivered solutions to particularly demanding newspaper and publishing customers with thousands, even millions, of pictures. We know the importance of being able to allocate resources to the creative work, and focus less on the actual storage and retrieval work. Even if most businesses will never have to deal with such great quantities, organizing visual assets within the organization is still called for. Today’s launch of the Cameleon suite is an expression of FotoWare’s experience and proficiency in this field.

“Over the last years we have experienced an explosion in the use of digital photography amongst public services and all kinds of industries out there. Digital photography is no longer a privilege for the professional users. It has become an important tool for all professionals working electronically with visual assets for web, catalogues and any kind of documentation”, says Ole Christian Frenning, founder and CEO of FotoWare a.s.

FotoWare Cameleon - Professional image users
“The challenge is to find the right picture when you need it. Based on our experience with professional image users, we have now developed a suite of scalable and easy to use solutions for the corporate market and public services. Our objective is to reduce efforts and increase productivity without changing your environment – to be like a Cameleon”, Mr Frenning concludes.

FotoWare Cameleon suite software - Different levels
FotoWare Cameleon is a combination of the FotoWare solution modules with a tighter integration for ease of use. Depending on the customer needs you can enter on different levels: Cameleon Standard, Cameleon Professional or Cameleon Web. These levels are adapted to the different needs of a corporate environment, with or without the support of a flexible web application. It is always possible to add capacity or functionality to your existing FotoWare Cameleon solution. The front end application is FotoStation Pro, which has sold 2,7 million licenses worldwide. Today FotoStation is available in 15 different languages, which makes it ideal for organizations working internationally.
