The digital back has a lithium-ion battery that is good for about 250 shots, three hours of work per charge. A 2.2" angle-insensitive OLED color monitor with a resolution of 116,000 pixels is integrated in the back of the unit for instant review of images.

The Rolleiflex 6008AF is the first auto focus medium-format camera for precise high-speed automatic focusing with the new AF lenses by Schneider-Kreuznach. The leaf-shutter lenses of the Rollei 6008 System are fully synchronized for speeds up to 1/500 s or even 1/1000 s and thus easily match any flash challenge. As part of Rollei's new family integration strategy, the lens is compatible with more than 20 current 6000 system lenses.
