Internet fax capabilities allow network model users to scan documents and attach them to e-mail as a PDF file and send directly from the machine. The color sending capabilities allow users to scan and directly send color documents to a number of different types of destinations such as e-mail, scan-to-file-server and scan-to-fax. This model will also allow for PC faxing right from the individual PC workstations to and through the unit itself. The set-up and day-to-day functions on both machines can be accessed directly on the unit or through a Remote UI within the network. Using any Internet browser and the IP address assigned to the unit, several functions can be accessed including device management such as a status monitor and device settings; job management including edit print jobs, view the print/internet fax/send logs; network and printer device setting and address book for fax and e-mail addresses.
