 Samsung VP X210L camcorder : Samsung Electronics builds on the success of its Sports Camcorder line with a new next-generation model, the Samsung VP-X210L. The new Samsung VP-X210L camcorder offers enhanced movie quality, greater memory (support up to 4GB), a 25% improvement in recording, time, a 30% improvement in battery life, and an enhanced 10x Optical Zoom. The Samsung VPX210L also features Samsung’s signature hands-free lens that allows on-the-go consumers to capture their adventures on video. “Samsung created a new camcorder category in 2005 with the original Sports Camcorder, and this product remains as the only product of its kind on the market today,” said MoonSoo Bang, Vice President of the Digital AV Division of Samsung.

The unique auxiliary lens module offers hands-free shooting for extreme outdoor activities and comes with an armband for easy attachment. The MPEG4 ASP compression format provides increased quality movie clip capture, and Samsung’s electronic image stabilizer helps minimize blur. A 800K CCD and 10x optical/100x digital zoom allow consumers to capture their athletic feats in superb clarity. Users can set up a shot with the 2.0 inch LCD and grab additional footage or stills with an SD or MMC memory card.
