Silverwire photobook software for photo retail labs

 Silverwire photobook software for photo retail labs : Silverwire, the global digital imaging application and services leader, and CYS PhotoBooks, an acknowledged industry leader in North America, announces today their partnership to provide photobooks to photo retail labs. This new offering will allow photo lab customers to order and create photobooks from their own PC's. Silverwire is enabling print facilities that are providing photobooks and gift items to their network of labs. Silverwire's partner photo retailers will be provided with ordering software that will be implemented into the Advanced version Silverwire Photo Ordering Client software - a 4mb download for Windows applications only.

It will run on Windows 2000 through XP. Partner photo lab customers will be able to download the software and create photobooks from their own PC's. "We are excited to team with CYS," says Chris Johnson, Vice President of Silverwire. "They have the top of the line Indigo Printers which will create quality photo products at affordable pricing. With the photobook offering we will be able to provide our photo lab partners a 30-40% margin on each order, while providing our partners with a complete line of photo solutions." CYS is the first fulfillment partner of Silverwire. CYS will handle the printing of each order throughout the Silverwire network of labs. The photobooks will be available for pick up at the photo retailer or can be shipped directly to the customer. The fulfillment will only be 48 hours, but shipping times may vary.
Silverwire photobook and calendar service
"Photobooks are definitely a value-added product that photo vendors desire," says Robert Sirizzotti, Director of Marketing & Sales, CYS Commercial Products. "They fit alongside other photo products and services, solidifying a complete offering." Each retailer will be provided with a suggested list price for the products offered in the Silverwire photobook and calendar service. There are different book types from hardback to soft cover linen to leather. Small "flip books" range from a suggested list price of $19.99 to $49.99.
