LucidiomLucidiom wins three DIMA photo kiosk shoot-out awards : Lucidiom creator of the Automated Photo Machine (APM), won three awards at Digital Imaging Marketing Association’s Photo Kiosk Shoot-Out at the PMA 2006 Show in Orlando, yesterday. With a record turn out of 27 photo kiosks in the contest, nine winners were named winners from four different categories and two different panels of judges: self-service experts and consumers. The expert panel of judges evaluated the kiosk systems using criteria such as customization, flexibility of options, reporting and other benefits important to retailers. Lucidiom’s APM 1100 was named the Expert’s Choice in the Print-to-Print/DSC Print Category and the Creative Kiosk Category.

Kiosk systems also were judged by a panel of consumers evaluating features such as user friendliness, ergonomics, feature set, quality of print, overall experience and more. Lucidiom’s APM 1100 photo kiosk also tied for the Consumer’s Choice Award in the Creative Kiosk Category. "We're thrilled to win these awards, as further validation about how intuitive and feature-rich our kiosks and software are designed," said Lucidiom President Steve Giordano, Jr. “This was a terrific way to launch our presence at PMA."

Lucidiom APM 1100 photo kiosk - Features
Featuring a 17-inch touch-screen, Lucidiom APM 1100 kiosk gives consumers a bigger view of their digital photos. Other benefits include an adjustable screen for viewing photos at any angle, an optional credit card/magnetic stripe reader so customers can pay for their photos right at the kiosk, and two USB ports for connecting directly to thumbdrives. The Luci version of the APM 1100 is tailored for scrapbookers, with features such as 12x12 photo printing, unique mats and template layouts. With Luci, retail customers can make quick scrapbook pages right in the store.

Lucidiom APM 1100 photo kiosk - Support
The APM 1100 photo kiosk supports a full range of digital media types: xD Picture Card, CompactFlash /MicroDrive, Memory Stick Pro and Duo, SD/MMC/MiniSD/RS-MMC, and SmartMedia. It also has a CD burner and DVD reader, runs on a Pentium 4, 3.0-GHZ processor with hyper-threading, and features 1 GB of hyper-threading RAM in order to process photo orders within two minutes on average.
