Print Like a Pro digital photographers guide : Pantone, the global authority on color and provider of professional color standards for the design industries, will be hosting Jon Canfield, popular photographer, author and Pantone Innovator for a book signing during PMA in Orlando. Canfield will be signing his latest digital photography how-to book, "Print Like a Pro: A Digital Photographer's Guide." Book signings will take place Feb. 26–28, 2006 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Pantone booth. Canfield's book will be offered at a discounted price of $30, exclusively at Pantone's booth during the show. Digital photographer's guide
The book Print Like a Pro: A Digital Photographer's Guide shows photography enthusiasts how to easily enhance and prepare digital images for printing. Step-by-step instructions and tutorials coupled with full-color images and screenshots explain how to use Adobe Photoshop CS2 or Adobe Photoshop Elements for color management and correction; editing images for printing and more. The book also includes information on how to take printing to the next level by: using different print technologies, papers, and inks such as Pantone ColorVangtage inkjet inks with its larger color gamut; selecting Raster Image Processors; framing and mounting.
Author Jon Canfield
Jon Canfield has written other popular photography books including "RAW 101: Better Images With Photoshop and Photoshop Elements" (Sybex, 2005).
