PMAFujifilm wins DIMA 2006 Innovative Product Awards : The Digital Imaging Marketing Association (DIMA), a section of Photo Marketing Association International, today presented Fujifilm with not one, but two DIMA Innovative Digital Product Awards at the PMA 2006. The two products - the Fujifilm FinePix F30 digital camera and the enhanced Fujifilm GetPix Kiosk VP3 for digital picture printing - were singled out by DIMA for their unique use of technology or applications that result in a significant user benefit. DIMA's selection of both capture and output products from Fujifilm demonstrates the company's wide-ranging expertise in digital imaging while reinforcing Fujifilm's status as one of the most innovative companies in photography.
Fujifilm wins DIMA 2006 Innovative Product AwardsFujifilm FinePix F30 Digital Camera
The 6.3 MegaPixel Fujifilm FinePix F30 is the world's first compact, point-and-shoot digital camera for consumers with full-resolution ISO equivalency speeds as high as 3200 - a setting previously reserved for professional and advanced amateur digital camera models. It can do so thanks to the second generation of Fujifilm's Real Photo Technology, which minimizes the graininess or "noise" often associated with digital photos, resulting in sharper pictures. Moreover, higher light sensitivities allow the FinePix Finepix F30 to shoot with faster shutter speeds. This is a tried and true photographic technique that reduces blurring not only due to camera shake, but subject movement well. On top of that, higher light sensitivities and faster shutter speeds reduce the need for flash, leading to more natural looking photos of people and pets with greater overall detail.

Fujifilm GetPix Kiosk VP3
The Fujifilm newly Enhanced GetPix Kiosk VP3 is a self-service print station that prints digital pictures instantly via three enclosed printers. This innovative kiosk uses high speed and high capacity dye-sublimation printers that allows consumers to print their digital images in as little as four seconds per 4x6 print. Its configurations feature an intuitive and tilting touch screen terminal plus a unique media drive design called Intelligent Media Inserts for a wide range of inserts including CDs, DVDs and even mini-CDs. Fujifilm, responding to customer suggestions, designed the GetPix Kiosk VP3 with more options and greater flexibility in order to help retailers grow their photofinishing businesses. Now, from a single unit, with Fujifilm's GetPix Kiosk Software Version 4, retailers can configure their GetPix Kiosk VP3 to offer three levels of service to print digital images: instantly, in an hour or in days.
