Steve's DigicamsNikon L4 at Steves Digicams : Our good friends at Steves Digicams have published their review of the Nikon Coolpix L4 digital camera. The Nikon L4 camera boasts a powerful 3x Zoom-Nikkor lens with a focal range equivalent to that of a 38-114mm (35mm equivalent). With 4 Megapixels the Nikon Coolpix L4 ensures the refined image clarity that users have come to expect from other members of the Coolpix family. The Nikon L4 camera is compatible with widely available SD memory cards. The provision of 10MB of internal memory for the Nikon Coolpix L4 allows the user to keep shooting when no additional memory is available, as well as easily moving images from one SD card to another. The Nikon L4 camera is compatible with AA-size batteries.

According to Steve Digicams: "When powered down the lens retracts and is protected by a builtin shutter, no lens cap needed. The large 2.0-inch color LCD with 115,000 pixels of resolution serves as the viewfinder as well as for reviewing your images and movies and accessing the menu screens. In lower light conditions the LCD will "gain up" for better framing and provides 100% coverage. The screen is coated with a non-glare finish and offers a wide viewing angle even in the bright sunlight."

Nikon L4 compact camera - Steves Digicams review conclusion
Steve continues: "The Nikon Coolpix L4 is equipped with ~10MB of internal memory and a SD memory card slot, no card is supplied with the camera. Images and movies can be copied from internal memory to SD card or vice-versa. We recommend the purchase of at least a 256MB (or larger) SD card or your picture taking will be quite limited. In the Setup menu is an option to select the battery type being used so the camera can display the battery level correctly." You want to learn more about the Nikon Coolpix digital camera? About Steve's Digicams Online
Steve's Digicams was founded in the year 1997, by, indeed, Steve. Steve Sanders is well experienced in photography, 30 years, and wants to share this experience with everyone on the Internet. Steve's motto is: simplicity. The way the website is build makes it also possible for those who haven't got a fast connection to download the website very quickly. In the same way the reviews are being written. According to Steve, it should not be necessary to follow a course in photography to be able to understand a review. For this approach Steve is well known world wide and he is welcome to it by his many readers. Beside test reports Steve's site has various other items, like a forum, camera specifications, daily "breaking" news.
