 Samsung Digimax L60 : Samsung introduces a 6 Megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical SHD lens to strengthen its digital success in the crowded 6 Megapixel digital camera sector. The Samsung L60, introduced by Samsung, is a portable compact digital camera (94 x 52 x 20 mm) that delivers an image resolution of 2816 x 2112 pixels. The Samsung Digimax L60's SHD optical lens has a focal length of 39-117 mm, f/2.8-4.9 (equivalent of 35mm film camera). Even though the Samsung Digimax L60 is small the engineers have manages to ensure it has a 2.4-inch color TFT LCD display with a resolution of 112K pixels. The Samsung Digimax L60 digital camera is packed in a 2cm flat black or silver coloured housing with a variety of features.

 Samsung L60 - Special effects
The Samsung Digimax L60 has Special Effect features that help take picture taking a stage further. The Special Effect features offered by the Samsung L60 are Highlight, Photo Frame and Composite shot. Besides the special features the Samsung Digimax L60 offers multipoint Auto focus with Auto macro and Super Macro function, 5x digital zoom, continue shooting at 2fps and 11 Scene programs to get control of every situation. At the upcoming PMA 2006 in Orlando Samsung will display their complete line of digital cameras.
Samsung Digimax L60 camera - Scene and Memory
Composite shot allows you to divide a shooting scene into 2-4 segments and save them into a single file. Photo Frame allows you choose from 9 different types of fun photo frame. Furthermore the Samsung Digimax L60 digital camera features 32MB internal memory which can be increased by using an external Secure Digital (SD) card up to 1GB. To transfer the data the camera is equipped with a USB 2.0 interface. For power the Samsung Digimax L60 digital camera is using a SLB-0837 Lithium Ion battery.

Samsung Digimax L60 digital camera - PictBridge and Photo printing
The PictBridge feature of the Digimax L60 allows pictures taken with a camera to be directly printed without a PC, so you can instantly obtain clear 6.0 Megapixel prints just by connecting the camera to a compatible printer. This, when used with the in camera editing features means you really can go from picture to print without the need for a PC. In addition, it provides a substantially faster transfer rate with USB 2.0 as compared to the existing USB 1.1.
