SonySony 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo for PSP :Sony Europe’s Recording Media & Energy (RME) division announced the launch of its new 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo being included in special promotional packs for the Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable). The Memory Stick PRO Duo’s increased storage capacity enables it to hold large amounts of multimedia data including digital photos, music files, videos and games as well as podcasts and video blogs. Users will be able to make full use of the Sony PSP’s powerful multi-media capabilities, utilising the enhanced mobile storage capacity now available while on the move. In addition, a USB cable is also included in the new Memory Stick kit to store data from a PC and view it on the Sony PSP.

Digital still cameras, PSP and camcorders need more and more storage. High capacity Memory Stick media enables recording of more high-quality still and moving pictures than ever before. The new Sony 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo complements the existing line-up of Memory Stick PRO Duo media kits for the Sony PSP, available in capacities ranging between 256MB and 1GB. The availability of the 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo promotion pack for the Sony PSP will vary from country to country and be available at an estimated end-user price of 175 Euros incl. VAT.

Sony Electronics is providing Memory Stick PRO Duo users with an expanded range of enhanced media that not only offers higher capacities and is high-speed read and write capable, but are also compatible with a vast array of current Memory Stick PRO Duo devices.
