 Fujifilm FinePix F11 review at PhotographyBLOG : DIWA member Mark Goldstein from PhotographyBLOG has reviewed the compact Fujifilm FinePix F11 digital camera. The Fujifilm FinePix F11, a 6.3-megapixel digital camera, features a 3x optical zoom lens, a large, 2.5-inch LCD monitor, sensitivity of up to ISO 1600 and expanded manual shooting functions. The Fuji F11 incorporates manual shooting functions, such as aperture and shutter priority settings to meet more advanced consumers. Additionally the Fujifilm F11 incorporates Fujifilm's innovative Real Photo Technology. Resolution of the LCD monitor has been boosted to 153,000 pixels. Enhanced shooting functions include improved macro mode performance (as close as 5cm).

 Fujifilm F11 - Operation and Function
According to Mark Goldstein: "The Fujifilm Finepix F11 has relatively few external controls, just 9 in total, which is surprising considering that this camera offers a full range of photographic controls. The F button does give quick access to certain features, but you do have to memorise what another button does. I also wish that Fujifilm had included external buttons for the shooting mode and exposure compensation options, as having to change what are frequently used options through the menu system slows down the overall operation of the camera."
Fuji FinePix F11 - Noise and Lens quality
Mark continues: "There is virtually no discernible noise at the slowest settings of ISO 80 and 100, and ISO 200 also looks very clean. Noise is starting to appear at ISO 400, bit it is still very well controlled at ISO 800, and even the fastest speed of ISO 1600 gives useable results. A remarkable performance by the Fujifilm Finepix F11. The Fujifilm Finepix F11 handled chromatic aberrations extremely well during the review, so well in fact that I could only a couple of examples with limited fringing in test shots with extreme contrast.
