Steve's DigicamsOlympus Evolt E-330 review at Steves Digicams : Our good friends at Steves Digicams have published their review of the Olympus Evolt E-330 digital SLR camera. The Olympus E-330 features the latest-generation MOS sensor for high speed and sensitivity and is offering 7.5 Megapixels. The new Olympus Evolt E330 is an E-System camera and is therefore compatible with the full range of Olympus E-System accessories. It is shipped with a Zuiko Digital 14-45mm 1:3.5-5.6 lens (equivalent to 28-90mm on a 35mm camera). The Olympus Evolt E-330 has a unique feature on board, it's the world's first digital SLR with continuous live view on its LCD. Olympus has equipped the Evolt E-330 model with a large, 2.5 inch multi-angle LCD.
Olympus Evolt E-330 review at Steves DigicamsOlympus E330 - Four Thirds System
Steve Digicams: "The all-metal lens mount for the Four Thirds System is twice the diagonal measurement of the imager. With this lens mount the body size, lens size and overall weight are reduced. The focal length multiplier is 2x, a 14-45mm lens is the equivalent to 28-90mm in 35mm photography. The viewing angle of HyperCrystal LCD monitor is 160-degree from left to right, up and down, while on existing LCD monitors on the contrast only offers approximately 70-degree angle of viewing."

Olympus Evolt E330 DSLR - Operation and Settings
Steve continues: "Controls on the back: Top right is the Control Dial, in Playback it functions as the index and zoomed mode control. As mentioned above, the LIVE VIEW button selects Mode A or B when the LCD is used as the viewfinder. Next to that is the MONITOR button to turn the LCD on/off. The AEL is the auto exposure lock button. Just above the 4-way controller is the Drive Mode button. To the left is a blue LED labelled "SSWF" that blinks each time the camera is powered up - this indicates the SuperSonic Wave Filter is operating. In between the Mode Dial and shutter release is the +/- Exposure Compensation button." You want to learn more about the Olympus digital SLR camera? About Steve's Digicams Online
Steve's Digicams was founded in the year 1997, by, indeed, Steve. Steve Sanders is well experienced in photography, 30 years, and wants to share this experience with everyone on the Internet. Steve's motto is: simplicity. The way the website is build makes it also possible for those who haven't got a fast connection to download the website very quickly. In the same way the reviews are being written. According to Steve, it should not be necessary to follow a course in photography to be able to understand a review. For this approach Steve is well known world wide and he is welcome to it by his many readers. Beside test reports Steve's site has various other items, like a forum, camera specifications, daily "breaking" news.
