Based on an award-winning Konica Minolta color laser print engine design, the magicolor 2480 MF makes it easy to produce high-quality color prints, copies, scans, and digital fax documents that are sure to impress. 2400 dpi print and copy resolution produces crisp text, rich blacks, vibrant colors, realistic photographs, and smooth shading. Copies can be easily reduced or enlarged by using the 50-200% zoom feature, and one-touch functions are available to customize copy quality even further. Documents and photos can be scanned in 24-bit color directly to a PC with ScanSoft PaperPort SE from Nuance and then annotated or edited; saved in PDF, JPEG, or TIFF format; or converted to editable text using the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature. Both the flatbed glass and the standard automatic document feeder support documents up to legal size (8.5" x 14"). The Konica Minolta Magicolor 2480 MF includes FaxTalk Communicator software, which provides convenient digital PC Fax send and receive functionality. Customers can scan and customize a document on the PC before faxing or printing.
