Adobe Audition 2 softwareAdobe Audition 2.0 - Sound
"Delivering pristine sound is essential for audio and video post-production professionals," said Jim Guerard, vice president of product management, Web and Video Solutions for Adobe. "Adobe Audition 2.0 software has the flexible tools and precise control to bring music and sound to life, making sure that what the audience hears is as impactful as what it sees." Adobe Audition 2.0 software is also available as a component of Adobe Production Studio Premium edition.

Adobe Audition 2 - Record and Mix
Audio engineers now have real-time, instant audio feedback while mixing with the completely redesigned low-latency mixing engine in Adobe Audition 2, which supports ASIO drivers, flexible routing with sends and busses, punch-ins on the fly, unlimited tracks, and more. For high levels of mixing power, audio professionals can monitor audio input in Adobe Audition 2 through the signal chain and record parameter changes in real time. These fast and accurate tools are tightly integrated into the Multi-track View, which supports an unlimited number of tracks and can record up to 80 simultaneous live inputs.

Adobe Production Studio Premium edition
The new user interface in Adobe Audition 2.0 software makes it easier than ever to create and arrange studio-quality music. Editors can dock and group workspace panels quickly and preview saved panel arrangements as custom workspaces that can be recalled easily. Broadcast and video professionals can save time with included royalty-free music beds and thousands of 32-bit uncompressed music loops. Other new features such as Adobe Bridge for convenient file access and management, Adobe XMP (Extensible Metadata Platform) support for embedding metadata into files, and broader video and audio format support help boost productivity and allow for more creative experimentation.

Adobe Audition software - Edit and Master sound
Audio engineers have a full set of editing, mastering, and restoration tools in Adobe Audition 2.0 that offer unprecedented power and control to deliver pristine sound. Powerful stereo wave-editing capabilities combined with the unique Spectral Pan and Spectral Phase displays allow editors to make edits and restore audio with utmost precision. Two audible scrubbing modes make it possible for editors to find cut points with their ears instead of their eyes. The unique lasso tool allows editors to make any shape of frequency and time selection to visually isolate and restore imperfect material. The new Mastering Rack allows for the preview of multiple effects simultaneously, and the new multi-band compressor helps add more clarity and definition to mixes.
