 Samsung GX 1S : Our good friend and DIWA member Kai Thon from the Norwegian web site published exclusive official information about the rumored digital SLR camera of Samsung. The Samsung GX-1S is official now, and is introduced today. At fist sight the new Samsung looks to be the same body as the Pentax *istDS2 which was introduced in 2005. Through combining their individual expertise, Pentax and Samsung are devoted to supplying attractive digital camera products in the near future. Introducing the Samsung 1S digital SLR camera is something we welcome. 2006 is a promising year for digital single lens reflex fans! Watch out, there is more to come. PMA 2006, Orlando (US) February 26 - March 1, will be the place to be!

 Samsung GX-1S dSLR - 6.1 Megapixels
We haven't seen the official press release yet, but we are ware of the specifications as also to be found on the web site of DigIT.no - the Norwegian DIWA member. Additionally Samsung introduced the D-XENON 18-55mm, D-XENON 50-200mm lens and the Samsung SEF-36PZF flash gun. As soon as we have got our hands on the press release we will give you more information. Price and availability are not given yet, but we expect to get our hands on a sample soon. For sure we will see the complete Samsung digital camera line-up at the PMA 2006.
