SonySony Micro Vault fingerprint access : At this year's CES 2006, Sony Electronics unveiled the new redesigned Sony Micro Vault line-up, which will include the Sony Sony Micro Vault with fingerprint Access. The new Micro Vault with Fingerprint Access features a swipe sensor, and an integrated cradle for desktop use. It offers a 512MB capacity and its Auto Login software stores and automatically enters Web site IDs and passwords - so when a finger is swiped over the drive's sensor, users can gain quick and easy access to online accounts. The biometric drive has encryption/decryption capability that securely protects files and folders, and offers a screen saver lock that protects against unauthorized computer access.

"We're really focusing on new, conducive designs that deliver high performance in high style," said Mike Lucas, Sony's marketing director for consumer media products. The new Sony Micro Vault with fingerprint Access USB flash drive will begin shipping this spring. The introduction of the Sony Vault Tiny USB flash drive confirms the importance of today's flash memory and the security of the, personal of confidential, data. It will take not that much time before we are all wearing and using tiny flash devices for our daily use.

Sony Micro Vault update - Microsoft HotFix issue
After applying the HotFix KB835732 distributed by Microsoft for Windows 2000 on April, 2004, some application software for the Micro Vault devices may not operate properly. In case of any problem, please download the latest version of the software from the website and try again.
