Sony Micro Vault PRO 8GB drive : At this year's CES 2006, Sony Electronics unveiled the new redesigned Sony Micro Vault line-up, which will include the Sony Micro Vault PRO 8GB drive. The new Sony Micro Vault PRO 8GB drive offers users substantial high storage capacity and high transfer speeds in a stylish design. Sony is now offering Micro Vault PRO in an 8GB storage capacity. Smaller than a deck of cards, the drive plugs directly into a USB port with a unique swivel connector. The Micro Vault PRO 8GB drive offers pre-loaded Auto Sync software that automatically synchronizes file changes made on the PC's hard drive, allowing for seamless transition of data between locations, and saves up to 10 generations of file changes.

The Sony Micro Vault PRO 8GB drive will be shipping in February with a suggested retail price of $229.99.
