SamsungSamsung SCX 4200 printer : Samsung launches the world's smallest laser-based flatbed MFP, the new SCX-4200 multifunction printer. Designed to be the ultimate affordable and compact productivity tool for small and home office multitaskers, Samsung's The SCX-4200 is a 2006 CES Innovations Award Honoree. Samsung's entire laser printer and MFP line-up was on display during CES 2006. The SCX-4200 is ideal for use in a variety of office situations where space and performance are at a premium. With its low cost of ownership due to Samsung's unique toner save function, which saves up to 40% of toner consumed when activated by the push of a button, the new multifunction is also an alluring alternative to the high-cost-per-page inkjet models.

"In addition to offering optimized input and output flexibility, this model delivers superior duty cycles, performance, low cost per page versus inkjet, and a compact stylish design making it the perfect unit for any busy desktop."

Samsung SCX-4200 - Office and Home printer
A total digital office solution, the affordable SCX-4200 is perfect for small offices, students, SOHO users (residential based with 1 to 4 employees), and SMB users (SMB – With 1 to 19 employees) alike who need to do multiple tasks with a unit that doesn't take up much space. Compared to competitive models, the Samsung SCX4200 printer is fast, featuring a 19 ppm print / copy speed and less than 30 second warm-up time. The Samsung SCX-4200 printer is an affordable 3-in-1 and is even small enough to fit in dorm rooms, making it a perfect choice for college student offices.

The Samsung 4200 does it all and quickly, with its up to 19-ppm black & white print engine and copy speed. The unit produces durable, long lasting prints that are smudge and water resistant, and razor sharp with 600-dpi resolution 8MB of memory. A 10,000-page monthly duty cycle and a 250-page paper cassette make this a hearty as well as space-saving device.

Samsung 4200 - Copy and Document
As a standalone copier, the Samsung SCX-4200 offers reduction and enlargement rates of 50 to 200 percent and the ability to produce up to 99 copies. It is ideal for copying printed documents and incorporates several advanced features such as Auto-fit Copy which allows any size image to fill an entire page; Clone Copy to reproduce a single image multiple times onto one sheet; ID card copy which enables users to copy the front and back of identification cards such as driver's licenses and medical insurance cards onto the front of one document; and black and white poster printing.

Samsung SCX 4200 MFP - Price and Availability
With the Samsung SCX-4200, color prints can easily be scanned to the PC for easy sharing, Web site publishing and e-mailing of photos and documents. Samsung SmarThru software makes it easy to scan-to-file, scan-to-application and scan-to-email. With Optical Character Recognition (OCR), originals can also be scanned and transformed into text files for editing. The SCX-4200 is compatible with Windows (98/ME/2000/XP) and Linux (Red Hat, Caldera, Mandrake, Slackware, SUSE and Turbo Linux) operating systems. The Samsung SCX 4200 is available in March 2006 for $199 ESP.
