The latest addition to the Hypersound Xtra family with 2 gigabytes can store up to 480 songs and comes with a price tag of 179 euros. The Yakumo Xtra 2GB's multi-colour, back-lit LC display shows any available ID3 tag information like artist, album or track name which is included on the MP3 or WMA format files stored on it. The new Yakumo Hypersound Xtra with 2 GB weighs in at just 35 grams.

The user can expect up to 18 hours of pure stereo sound using just one AAA battery which is delivered with the Yakumo Hypersound Xtra 2GB. Getting tracks from PC to player is an easy task, the USB cable, which is provided in the box, is all the user needs. The Yakumo Xtra 2GB MP3 player is also equipped with a Secure Digital slot.
