Samsung CLP 300N laser printer : Samsung announces the breakthrough Samsung CLP 300N color laser printer, a powerful yet affordable new solution for consumers who want the benefits of color printing but do not have the space for bulky machinery. The Samsung 300N laser printer is the smallest and lightest color laser printer in its class, weighing only 30 pounds and featuring a diminutive footprint of 15.4" w x 13.5" d x 10.4" h. Ideally suited for SOHO and home office use, the compact printer also features tiny toner bottles, instead of larger unwieldy cartridges, allowing for a footprint small enough to fit on most any desk. The Samsung CLP-300N laser printer will be available in February 2006 with a $399 ESP.

Samsung 300N printer - Color laser
"By creating the smallest and lightest color laser printer in its class, Samsung has delivered the ultimate affordable color printing solution for the SOHO and personal office market," says Mark Meisberger, Senior Product Manager, Samsung Electronics Information Technology Division. "Prior to the Samsung CLP-300N, those with small or home offices were more reticent to purchase a color laser printer because until now, their size was significantly bigger than their black and white laser counterparts."
Samsung CLP-300N - Toner and Print engine
The stylishly designed two-tone printer delivers beautiful color prints along with the dependability and reliability which Samsung laser printers are known for. The same exclusive NO NOISTM print engine you'll find in Samsung's high end color laser printers give the affordable Samsung CLP-300N color laser printer quiet operation and simple toner changes. Getting up and printing is a cinch, with as few as four clicks of the mouse.
Samsung color laser printer - Document and Resolution
Not only is this printer small and relatively weightless, but the Samsung CLP-300N is also fast, printing in up to 17-ppm black and white, and 4-ppm color. Sharp documents result from the 600 x 600 dpi optical resolution which can be enhanced up to 2400 x 600 dpi. The unit also boasts a competitive hearty 24,200 pages per month duty cycle. The high speed USB 2.0 interface makes setup and connectivity simple and the 150-sheet cassette tray enables a hectic workflow to keep flowing. Easy drawer style toner and paper access means its super easy to replace supplies and handle paper jams. For example, if paper jams, the user can simply remove the paper at the front of the printer without the need to rotate the body. Also, the number of supply items is minimized for easy replacement and cost-efficiency. The CLP-300N, with its built-in 10/100 Base TX Networking, allows for shared printers to be used like standalone printers.
