SanDiskSanDisk Corporation announced today that it has extended its partnership with the Spectrum Group of independent sales, marketing and operations (I.S.M.O) companies into the Scandinavian and Baltic territories. The appointment makes Spectrum Nordic responsible for direct sales of SanDisk's OEM and industrial grade products to key OEM accounts, and for sales conducted via SanDisk's distribution channel, in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, and in the Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The Spectrum Nordic appointment is a furtherance of the long established alliance between SanDisk and the Spectrum Group. Spectrum organizations already represents SanDisk in France, Spain & Portugal, Italy the UK and Ireland.
"We're delighted," said Tony Shaw, Spectrum's European Champion for the SanDisk line, "that SanDisk has decided to expand our activities on its behalf into the Scandinavian and Baltic countries. It's a testament to the proven success of the Spectrum I.S.M.O. business model."

According to Heinz Schulte, SanDisk managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa sales, the SanDisk and Spectrum relationship has already proven to be extremely successful in many of the key European markets. "Our expansion into Northern Europe through Spectrum Nordic is another example of how much we value Spectrum’s proven sales and market creation abilities."

For his part, Norrie Christie, Managing Director Spectrum Nordic, said he believes demand for high performance flash memory products is strong in the Northern European territory, and particularly so in the Scandinavian countries: "We are extremely enthusiastic about leveraging our relationships with established and upcoming Scandinavian and Baltic OEMs and designing SanDisk's leading low-power removable flash storage products into their rapidly evolving applications," he said.

A specialist technology sales and demand creation company, Spectrum Nordic is one of the fourteen independent sales, marketing & operations (I.S.M.O.) organizations in the Spectrum Group. Spectrum Nordic directly addresses large OEM accounts on behalf of the manufacturers it represents and also works closely with their distribution partners to ensure a comprehensive, cost-efficient, design-win focused route to market.
