SamsungSamsung Digimax A503 : Samsung is proud to announce the newest addition to their exceptional line of Digimax digital cameras, the Samsung A503. This 5 Megapixel model features a 5x digital zoom, as well as an 8x zoom during playback, allowing shooters to check the precision and detail of their images. Along with excellent lens quality, the A503 is equipped with a large, 2-inch 115k pixel TFT LCD screen that provides outstanding image quality for shooting and reviewing pictures. The Samsung Digimax A503 will make its debut as part of Samsung's Premium camera line. With several special effect functions that shooters can take advantage of, this high quality camera is a welcomed and versatile addition to the Samsung Digimax range.

Among the many functions offered, the A503's special effect functions include: Color Effect, offering a variety of colors, including B/W, sepia, blue, red, green, or negative depending on your photographic settings; Highlight, which keeps the subject in sharp focus while putting the rest of the image into soft focus; Photo Frame, allowing the shooter to choose from nine different types of photo frames to shoot their subjects in; and Composite Shot that allows the user to take two-to-four shots, and save them into a single file.

In order to capture the best images possible in a variety of settings, the Samsung Digimax A503 comes equipped with a number of scene modes. The seven scene modes supported by the Samsung A503 include: Night, Portrait, Landscape, Sunset, Dawn, Backlight, Fireworks and Beach & Snow.

Samsung A503 camera - Secure Digital and PictBridge
Equipped with 32MB of built-in flash memory, the Samsung Digimax A503 allows users to shoot and save numerous pictures without a memory card. And with PictBridge technology, users can connect the Samsung Digimax A503 directly to a printer by using the supplied USB cable to output images right from the camera's internal memory or SD card.

With the built-in image editing function of the Samsung Digimax A503, shooters can edit a variety of images without the use of a PC. The Trimming function can be used to cut an undesired part of an image and save only the required part. When short of memory, shooters can use the Resizing function to recover some of the memory space, by resizing and saving images in a smaller size. The Rotating function allows users to rotate an image in the desired direction and save it. In addition, the Samsung A503 provides a wide variety of bonus functions such as voice memo for adding a short voice message to a picture or voice recording for longer messages. The Samsung Digimax A503 will be available in January 2006 with an MSRP of $139.99.
