Lucidom remote photo kiosk at CES 2006 : Lucidiom Inc., debuted its remote photo kiosk, the APM 7000, which gives retailers the opportunity to place photo kiosks outside their stores. Lucidiom will be showcasing its APM 7000 at the 2006 International CES, January 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). CES attendees can use the APMs themselves to create their own mementos of their Vegas experiences. Show attendees can print custom greeting cards and scrapbook pages, as well as make standard 4x6 prints, for free at six APMs located at North 1, Central 2 and South 3 LVCC hall entrances. Lucidiom’s APM 7000’s on-screen directions and voice prompts guide the attendee through the transaction in an average of two minutes per order.

Photo Kiosk - Digital print service
“With free-standing remote kiosks, retailers can take the power of the APM and extend their brand and profitability throughout the communities surrounding their stores, from the corner coffee shop, to grocery stores, to community centers and to local fairs and events,” said Lucidiom President and CTO Steve Giordano, Jr. “The kiosks are linked through the Internet for remote monitoring and maintenance. Plus, the APM 7000 offers credit card authorization, so consumers can pay for their photos right at the APM.”

The APM 7000 has different options for the base unit allowing greater flexibility. Choose the base with the roll film drop-off, and retailers can give their customers a one-stop solution for both digital and conventional analog printing. Or, offer customers 4x6 and/or 5x7 express printing with up to two dye-sublimation printers housed in the base. The APM 7000 supports a full range of digital media types.

The APM 7000 features Lucidiom’s award-winning APM 3.0 software which allows retailers to change the look and feel of the ordering screen with the click of a button. With numerous customization options, retailers are in control with Lucidiom APMs. Retailers can set the prices, product offers, available operating languages, and the printing methods. Thus like all of Lucidiom's products, the APM 7000 can be branded to fit each store's style.
