MediaGearDigital camera gadgets : MediaGear, a manufacturer and marketer of digital camera peripherals for transfer, storage, archiving, and processing of digital photos, announced new gadgets. Following this year’s awards from American Photo and Digital Imaging Association for best innovative product, MediaGear is on the launch pad with more innovative digital camera centric “gadgets” that saves the photo enthusiast time and provides peace of mind when archiving family and travel photos. MediaGear’s own consumer studies confirm this product direction. Today’s “high-speed” consumers need digital camera gadgets that become an instant photo safe for digital photos without the time-wasting need for PC boot-up and the fear of PC crashes.

A two-step process is what sets latest-technology MediaGear products apart from other digital camera gadgets. The one-two process: 1) connection to the MediaGear gadget, and 2) at high USB 2.0 speed, auto transfers photos or files to memory with the push of a button. Of the many products in the new gadget line-up, the MediaGear Digital Camera Hard Drive is an example of a true "stand alone" drive with 80 and 120GB capacities. Again, the "connect and push" two-step process allows all “soccer moms” to regain wasted time when downloading to PC. Plus, she never has to worry again about loosing digital photos stored in the PC.

Flash HD to Go portable drive
Another premium product is the award winning Flash HD to Go portable drive which becomes the perfect camera bag gadget for the high-speed photo enthusiast. The Flash is available in 20, 30, 40, and 60GB models, and is a take-it-to-the-field gadget with built in memory card reader and rechargeable battery. While some choose the optional transfer to PC, others use the Flash HD to Go as their permanent photo and file storage.

Digital camera gadget line
Other heavy hitters to the MediaGear gadget line of products is the deluxe class of memory card readers. MediaGear is the largest manufacturer of PC card readers and has taken this expertise to the portable form factor. Designed exclusively for the digital camera enthusiast, the new Digital Camera 10n4 Reader uses the latest push button technology to quickly transfer photos to memory. As an added feature, the unique twin, USB hubs provides added convenience - the perfect solution for cramped USB port space (on the PC) when docking 512 or 1GB thumb drives.

MediaGear gadget - Mobile 15n4
Another new entrée to the market recently is the MediaGear Mobile 15n4. The compact design, push button technology and built in USB cable is the perfect carry-along for those notebook and digital camera field trips. “Read with speed” 15 different memory cards with one push of a button.
