FujiFilmFujifilm FinePix A500 digital camera : Fujifilm has announced the debut of a new entry-level compact digital camera in the popular Fujifilm FinePix "A" series. The Fujifilm FinePix A500 is equipped with a 5.1 Megapixel Super CCD. The new FinePix digital camera offers a 3x optical zoom lens and an easy-to-view 1.8-inch LCD monitor. Designed with ease-of-use as a priority, the number of buttons on the camera body has been kept to a minimum. The addition of an optical viewfinder makes the Fujifilm A500 easy to operate, even for those who have never used a digital camera before. Distinguished by ease of use and exceptional image quality the 5.1 Megapixel Fujifilm FinePix A500 will be available from March 2006.

The new model incorporates the Fujifilm Super CCD, acclaimed for its outstanding imaging performance in high-end and mid-range digital cameras in the Fujifilm FinePix line. This sophisticated imaging sensor ensures exceptional image quality, characterized by accurate reproduction of subtle details, smooth, attractive skin tones, and true-to-life colours. The Fujifilm FinePix A500 features 12MB of internal memory, making it possible to record up to 19 frames (at 2M resolution) without a media card. The FinePix A500 are powered by 2x AA-size batteries.
