About CES - Consumer Electronics Show
The first CES took place in New York City in June of the year 1967 with 200 exhibitors and 17,500 attendees. Since then, CES underwent a sevenfold growth. Nearly 2,500 exhibitors, filling 1.5 million net square feet of exhibit space, showcased their latest products and services to more than 130,000 attendees at the 2005 International CES. Today every January of a new year the CES kicks off in the place where the word fusion was born, Las Vegas.
