Frazer Allen, Marketing Director at Alpha Digital Services Ltd said “ We are looking forward to working with the Ricoh brand and are especially excited to be able to promote the new models the GR Digital and the R3 into the channel as well as continuing the focus on the RR530 and the GX8.”
Ricoh Caplio digital camera range
Ricoh EPMMC are well placed to take advantage of the increasing demand for digital cameras with their popular Caplio digital camera range. The new GR Digital inherits the superb image quality that made the award winning GR Series (first launched in 1996) of 35mm compact film cameras so popular, as well as the depictive performance to satisfy professional photographers, distilled into a compact 25-mm thin body. With a high-quality feel and superb expandability, this is the perfect tool for both professional photographers and advanced amateurs.
Ricoh Caplio R3 - Lens & Vibration correction function
With a smaller body, the new Caplio R3, has a 7.1x (28-200 mm) wide-angle, high-powered zoom lens - the biggest in its class. The lens was created by adopting the newly developed Double Retracting Lens System, an advance on the highly successful Retracting Lens System, the original lens storage system engineered by Ricoh for its innovative products. Moreover, to address blurred images caused by hand movement inherent to long focal ranges, the Ricoh Caplio R3 digital camera avoids this problem in telephoto, macro, or indoor shots with the addition of a vibration correction function.
