 Lucidiom large LCD APM photo kiosk : Lucidiom Inc., creator of the original Automated Photo Machine (APM), unveiled its new countertop photo kiosk, the APM 1100 to help retail customers make high-quality digital prints quickly and easily. Featuring a 17-inch touchscreen, this APM (Automated Photo Machine) gives consumers a bigger view of their digital photos. Other benefits include an adjustable screen for viewing photos at any angle, an optional credit card/magnetic stripe reader so customers can pay for their photos right at the kiosk, and two USB ports for connecting directly to thumbdrives. The APM 1100 supports a full range of digital media types: xD Picture Card, CompactFlash, MicroDrive, Memory Stick Pro and Duo, SD, MMC, MiniSD, RS-MMC, and SmartMedia. It also has a CD burner and DVD reader, runs on a Pentium 4, 3.0-GigaHertZ processor with hyper-threading, and features 1 GigaByte of hyper-threading RAM memory in order to process photo orders within two minutes on average.
