OmniVision CMOS camera chips in USA toys : OmniVision Technologies, Inc. the world’s leading supplier of CMOS image sensors, announced today that its OV7930 VGA CMOS CameraChip is featured in a video and music entertainment system from one of the largest toy makers in the world. The new toy puts kids on camera, so they can see themselves on TV as they sing along to their favorite songs. This toy is the first of its kind in the entertainment toy market. OmniVision’s OV7930 CameraChip brings to the table a cost efficient, true single-chip design with high video quality. With over one million units already shipped, the new video and music entertainment system is likely to be one of this year’s hottest selling Christmas toys.

OmniVision OV7930 - VGA Camera Chip
The OV7930 is a high-performance, color VGA CameraChip designed specifically for applications requiring a low power, cost-efficient solution. The OV7930 supports NTSC composite video output and a true single chip design that incorporates a direct interface to the TV monitor. The PAL version OV7910 is used for the European markets. Both the OmniVision CMOS chip OV7930 and OV7910 come in a lead-free package.
