Xerox offers compatible cartridges for approximately 95 percent of HP's LaserJet black-and-white printers. The Xerox replacement cartridge for the HP LaserJet 4250 and LaserJet 4350 series is available December 15 in the United States and will be available in January in Canada and Europe. The online price is $156.79, and the cartridge is available for purchase at the Xerox supplies website, as through Xerox direct sales representatives, authorized sales agents, resellers, dealers and concessionaires.

The latest addition to Xerox's "It's Compatible" line of toner cartridges can be used in HP's newest black-and-white products, the HP LaserJet 4250 and Laserjet 4350 printers, which are targeted to office workgroups and entry-level production printing environments. The Xerox cartridge contains a microchip that supports HP "smart print" functions, enabling the printer to automatically recognize the cartridge and indicate when toner is low.
