FujifilmFujifilm Frontier minilabs at Foto Brell : Erich Ruelfs has been the owner of Foto Brell, headquartered in Bonn (Germany), for the last 12 years and has been working with Fujifilm minilabs since 1997. He sums things up with: Quality for the consumer and for me was always the crucial factor. Today they not only have a Frontier 570 Minilab in their Bonn branch, which produces the strongest turnover, but also in the Cologne, Duisburg and Kevelaer branches. In addition to the current top model, two Frontier 350s and a Frontier 340 are also in use. Two further criteria on top of quality which have emerged with the new Frontier 570 flagship are speed and the facility to expose photos up to the 30 x 45 cm format.
Fujifilm Frontier minilabs at Foto BrellFrontier minilab - Photo service
Customers can decide when ordering whether they will select the desired motifs themselves at one of the four photo terminals which are networked to the minilab in the upper level, or whether they will give the task in the usual manner to the employees at the photo counter. If they choose the self-service option, they only need to pay 9 cents for a 9 x 13 cm photo or 15 cents for a 10 x 15 cm photo for example, while these sizes cost 25 and 30 cents respectively at the photo counter.

Foto Brell - One hour print service
However productivity is even more important for Foto Brell than the one minute service which is now possible. Customers are offered one-hour digital and analog picture services. Of course we can also deliver more quickly for regular customers who are in a hurry, said Ruelfs, the owner. However speed is only second place for many people, of greater importance are the quality and range on offer. The many professional customers are testament to the fact that the quality is right. Professional photographers, institutions and agencies see to it that the proportion of standard photos in the 10 x 15 format only amounts to 50 percent at Foto Brell. The other half is accounted for by large format prints. All formats up to 30 x 45 cm are almost equally represented in this figure.

Fujifilm digital minilab Frontier 570
Fujifilms Digital Minilab Frontier 570 represents a quantum leap in customer retail services. Instead of one-hour service or same-day service, now customers hand over their film or digital media and receive their finished prints minutes later. The Frontier 570 minilab also delivers the highest image quality ever from a Frontier minilab, with advanced image enhancement and improved print resolution. Everyone's shop can look forward to seeing more satisfied customers, as the Frontiers new features create expanded opportunities for ones business.

Photo print shop - Digital images
Quick digital photos are available at Foto Brell from negatives and slides up to the 9 x 12 cm format and from all types of digital storage memory. Black and white and color negative films are also developed in-house; only E6 material is sent to an external laboratory for development. The ratio between analog and digital submissions has undergone a clear shift in the last few months towards digital. The development is clear, affirmed Ruelfs. However the demand for reprints from digital sources can more than compensate for this decline.
