UbergizmoNeuNeo HVD2085 DVD player review at Ubergizmo : Our friends at Ubergizmo have reviewed the HVD2085 1080p DVD Player from NeoDigits, a trusted online supplier of high-end, cutting-edge and feature-rich DVD players. The NeuNeo HVD2085 1080p is the only player on the market to offer Video Graphics Array output (VGA) with five different resolutions. Owners of this model have more HD screen options to connect the player to for superior HD image viewing, since different brands and different models of screens have differing native screen resolutions. Other HD DVD players on the market currently only provide two options for varied resolutions. The HVD2085 DVD player is the follow-up of the previous models in the HVD208 series.
NeuNeo HVD2085 DVD player review at UbergizmoNeuNeo DVD player - Image quality
According to Ubergizmo: "We tested the HVD2085 on a Panasonic PT-50LC14 50-inch retro-projected LCD TV. In our opinion, this DVD player does a much better job than most. It exhibits much less visual artifacts than many DVD players, thanks to the magnifying (up-scaling) algorithm. The good news is that NeuNeo can provide an update to their algorithm because their chip is programmable, which is not the case of many DVD players, including high-end ones."

Ubergizmo HVD2085 review - Operation and User interface
Ubergizmo continues: "There are a few things that we really liked such as the ability to switch a number of things on and off without going to the DVD menu: subtitles and language are our favorites (switching language doesn’t work with all DVDs). The remote control does not have the regular VCR buttons (user manual page #7), and is a bit weird. After one week, we still have not gotten used to it, mainly because we are still using “standard” remotes. Neodigit’s HVD2085 is region-free out of the box, if you care about imported movies. We tested it and it works without a hitch." You want to learn more about the NeuNeo DVD player? Continue to read the NeuNeo HVD2085 1080p DVD player review at Ubergizmo.

Ubergizmo.com is a trendy web magazine dedicated to consumer electronics news and reviews. It was founded by Hubert and Eliane in Palo Alto at the heart of Silicon Valley (California) where they both work. Ubergizmo is an independent web site that does not rely on advertising to run (although we do display advertising). This allows us to be truly free to say what we think, even if it does not please the manufacturers (sorry guys). To make our content spicy and enjoyable for our readers, we have a secret: we blog from our kitchen :)
