PrakticaPraktica Digi 3 LM : Pentacon Germany is proud to introduces a new digital camera, the Praktica Digi 3 LM. This new entry-level digital camera model features a 3,2 Megapixel CMOS image sensor and a 2.0-inch (5,1 cm) TFT monitor on the back of the camera. The housing of the Praktica Digi 3LM is made out of metal. Behind the fixed lens is the 3,2 Megapixel CMOS sensor. The Praktica 3LM camera is able to use interpolation to rise the resolution of the captured image. The highest possible (interpolated) resolution is 4,3 Megapixels. The camera targets the entry-level group of users who would like to use a no-nonsense digital camera to point-and-shoot, nothing more, nothing less. The camera incorporates a built-in memory.

Although the camera is entry-level the Digi 3 LM is still able to capture moving images. The highest resolution for video capture is 640 x 480 pixels with 15 frames per second or 320 x 240 pixels with 24 frames per second. It is possible to connect the camera to your computer to watch the captures images and video clips. Besides video clips the Praktica Digi 3 LM can also be used as a webcam. The software on CD-ROM makes it even possible to use the camera for video conferences.
